Elizabeth, 14 year old Portfolio Building for Savannah Arts Academy!
"Before taking classes with Mrs. Jennifer I attended a local art studio to help me build my audition portfolio. The open time structure, without specific instruction, and large group experience did not work well for me.
This changed when I began taking private part time classes with Mrs. Jennifer at The SketchPad Fine Art Studio in 2013. She gave me an understanding of the elements that make art as it stands. (Also, portfolio requirements from Savannah Arts Academy were now being followed).
She helped me trust and enhance my natural talent, guiding me to recognize my greater potential. I was able to more deeply explore my favorite craft (pencil sketching) and was exposed to many new craft (oil pastel, oil paint, wax, fiber and more) that stretched me. Mrs. Jennifer guided me to use different techniques as I worked on my art pieces for my audition portfolio. She was very helpful and truly enjoys teaching and doing art.
In February of this year I completed my art portfolio at The SketchPad and passed my audition to be accepted to Savannah Art Academy as a Visual Arts major for school year 2015-2016"!
Fast forward, upon graduation from SAA I received a partial scholarship to SCAD and am
continuing my art education!

Justin, 13 year old Budding Artist!
We can't thank Miss Jenny enough for being so wonderful with our autistic son, Justin! He truly loves his special art time with Miss Jenny. He is so calm and happy after her classes and really looks forward to his next “alone art time” (private lessons) with her. In fact, after his last class, we saw what a positive effect art had on him that we re-enrolled him in occupational therapy (which he had received in NJ). Miss Jenny's classes help bring out his creativity and express the special boy he is in a calm, comfortable setting. Miss Jenny is so talented and nurturing – she truly has a special gift. We are so lucky to have her as Justin's special teacher. (January 2014)

Corinne Wooden, Adult Student Private Oil Painting Class
"Jennifer's one-on-one oil painting instruction is so well suited to someone like me who has no art or painting experience. I feel so fortunate to be studying under such an accomplished artist and teacher. Jennifer has a gift in her ability to translate concepts and technique - she is very encouraging and supportive. The classes and completion of my first piece have been very rewarding - thanks to Jennifer. This has been an opportunity I will always treasure."

Jeff Dickson, Artist at Jeff Dickson Fine Art in LaFarge, WI
“Jennifer and I have studied under many of the same art instructors and it impressed me how easily she could assimilate information and then creatively implement it into her own style. Now, as an established artist and teacher, she is able to fluidly communicate her artistic skills, knowledge, and methods in an environment which is conducive for nurturing and inspiring her students. In a nutshell........she rocks”!

Christina Cavage, Professor of ESL at SCAD in Savannah, GA
“Emma has developed a greater awareness of art and her natural environment. The combined art/nature experience has stimulated her to embrace her studies – geology, art, etc. deeper at school. She will definitely be taking more classes with you. If she ever decides she wants to go to art school and needs to build a portfolio, the guidance you provided her will be invaluable.”

"The (SketchPad) studio is a welcome supplement to the educational experience of its students. The curriculum of many schools just do not allow for sufficient exposure to art and the development of creativity that is associated with it".

Brianna, Student - Summer Art Camp Program 2012
"My art camp with Mrs. Jennifer was awesome. My favorite project was the wool (felting) because I got to pick my own colorful design. It was a daisy flower. I really liked working with plaster paris too. Our hands got very dirty making different things. We even got to pick our own designs to decorate. I can't wait to go back"!!!!

"Freedom, a time to express your true creative nature, how many people do you know who will allow you the freedom to create? I mean truly create, without their control or without them applying their own stroke to the canvas. I have not met a person who feels secure enough to allow me to express my own creative gifts until I met Jennifer Glaser.
I have never painted before; I am a first time artist. How blessed I am to have an instructor like Jennifer. Her ability to allow me the freedom to create my own self-expression is pure joy. She creates a relaxed, peaceful and fun atmosphere. No fears of right or wrong just the joy of finding yourself expression on the canvas. I am grateful for her and her instruction, which allows me the opportunity to grow into an artist.
Thank you Jennifer for the time and space to be me".

"It is with delight that we write this testimonial for Ms. Jenny. When
meeting her for the first time, she exhibited such passion and dedication for her love of art that we felt that Maryn, our daughter, could benefit
from her many talents - and she has.
Ms. Jenny takes into consideration Maryn's needs and creates an environment that enriches her development through art and nature. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with Ms. Jenny each week on new and exciting projects".
